Several competitive fellowships will be available to prospective graduate students. To be considered for one of these fellowships, applications must be submitted by January 5 of the academic year of admission.  In addition to fellowships, most doctoral students will have the opportunity to serve as Teaching Assistants for undergraduate classes offered by the Department of Ethnic Studies.  Graduate Student Researcher positions may also be available for individual graduate students.  For more information about financial support, please see the Graduate Division website.  In addition, the Department is continuously applying for external support for the graduate program.
